Nuova General Nautica: “Boats are our passion!”
In the Gulf of Lake Garda between Desenzano and Sirmione, there is the Nuova General Nautica, an annual and summer boat storage. Besides the storage for boats, our activity also deals with the maintenance of wooden and fiberglass hulls, nautical support services and warehouse services.
General Nautica is a historic shipyard on Lake Garda, which has been active for well over 22 years.
Over the years, the structure has expanded its services and, to date, we also have a petrol station for green petrol boats and wide free parking for all our customers.
Our store can accommodate different types of boats, (fiberglass, wood and jet skis), with a length of up to 9 meters.
The interior space is divided into two sectors:
The lower part is located below the level of the lake and is used to accommodate boats up to 9 meters and the main feature of this area is the constant humidity rate which is optimal for the conservation of wooden hulls. We can boast this ‘unique peculiarity’ among the garages of Lake Garda;
The upper part remains above the lake level to accommodate fiberglass boats.
Services included:
- 40 launching and hauling in the summer season;
- Free use of the car park with video surveillance;
- Use of bathrooms with showers;
- Petrol pump available;
- Evening outings to be agreed in advance with the office.
